Hello,

I am urgently looking for a JD Edwards Senior HR Functional Analyst / Team Lead. This position is based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It is mandatory that the candidate can speak perfect English. The client is looking to recruit internally but may consider hiring a contractor if they cannot find the right person to join their company as an employee.

The Functional Specialist has overall responsibility for the quality of work completed within the assigned Application Portfolio.

Responsibilities:

� Accountable for the overall quality of the JDE solution delivered to the client

� Interface with client BA’s to understand the business requirement and determine how best to implement the solution in JDE using deep JDE functional expertise

� Serve as the key conduit of functional/business & technical knowledge into the JDE development, CNC and interfaced external system teams

� Perform impact analysis on incoming service / support requests, specific to complexity & estimate drivers

� Create functional / operational design specifications for support work and support the business analysts in their project work

� Oversee the review of detailed functional specifications, test plans & user and operations documentation

� Oversee / support team members in providing production support for JDE super users and end users. Activities include problem analysis, break/fix, testing, and promotion to the prototype environment.

� Understands and follows the change management processes regarding movement / promotion of items from development, prototype and production environments

� Ensure compliance with all processes and procedures over the lifecycle

� Provide guidance to Business Analysts working within the same Application Portfolio

� Ensure all JDE work produced by the team reflects the highest proficiency use of JDE and is of top quality

� Work effectively as part of a team and seek to support the team's goals above individual goals.

� Broaden technical, functional, and industry skill base.

� Provide suggestions to better accomplish assigned tasks.

� Provide on-call support outside normal business hours as needed.

� Complete special projects as requested.

Technical Skills and Applications:

� 7+ years relevant experience as a JDE experience

� 5+ years as an JDE HR functional analyst

� 5+ years in a leadership capacity

� JDE functional knowledge in the following areas: Compensation, Benefits/Payroll, Health & Wellness, Relocation Program, Data Management, Workplace Services

� 8.1X experience an asset

� JDE Workflow

� OMW

� External Interfaces

� Familiarity with development processes

� JDE Security

Education:

Minimum: 4 year degree

Preferred: Engineering, Information System, or Computer Science degree

Other Skills:

Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor more junior resources

Client engagement / communication skills

Work delivery management skills, ability to prioritize and respond to quickly changing requirements

Organizational skills

Analytical skills

Application Testing

Functional Design

Strong attention to detail

Knowledge of energy industry – will be trained on Western Canada Oil and Gas Industry

Oral and written communication

Proactive, strong problem-solving skills
