Hello,

If you are interesting to participate in the web conference, Confoo.ca is launching its call for speakers for the 2010 Confoo.ca conference. With more than 500 attendees, Confoo.ca is the one of the largest Web development conference in North America in 2.0.

We are looking for the best speakers who are willing to share their experiences and their skills with programmers and managers, marketer and decision makers. The 2010 event will feature many firsts in its presentations. The conference is divided in themes, belonging to one of two parts:

A technical part, encompassing different aspects of Web development: PHP, Python, Ruby, security, project management, CMSes and frameworks, databases, system administration, Web standards, and accessibility.

A decision-makers part: referencing (SEO), Web marketing analysis, and social networking.

Presenters can decide to present in English or in French.

Presentations are roughly one hour long.

Presentations could be recorded for later broadcast in digital format.

Date and Venue

Confoo.ca 2010 will take place at the prestigious Hilton Bonaventure Hotel in Montr�al, Qu�bec, Canada from March 10 to March 12, 2010.

Speakers Kit

Confoo.ca can cover travel and lodging expenses for speakers who require it. Speakers benefit from full access to all activities for the duration of the conference.

Speakers will also be invited to a private banquet with sponsors and with members of the organization committee.

Talk Proposals

We accept talk proposals only through the following form (formulaire) (to update) in English or French. A speaker can propose more than one talk: fill one form for each proposed talk.

Care should be taken to fill each field properly. Proposals that are incorrectly filled out, contain many spelling or grammar mistakes, are not sent through the online form, are not on one of the conference topics, or are in neither English nor French will be rejected without notice.

Talk Proposal

Call for speakers end on Sunday October 25th at 11h59 PM, Eastern Daylight Time (UTC-4).

The selection committee will study every valid proposals. The decision will be made according to the originality of the proposal and to the level of interest from the targeted audience. Candidates will receive the decision privately; decision is final and without appeal
