Emilie Bruel and I Solenne Muller-Feuga have decided to launch this hub to talk about taboo topics concerning tourism, culture and heritage industries and the existing relationships of these 3 sectors with the labor market trends.

HERE IS THE NEW TOPIC UNTIL MARCH 2008: lets talk about senior segments in the heritage tourism niche sector. Why are our parents and grand parents so numerous? How would it be possible to attract new segments in this continuing growing sector of the cultural and sustainable tourism industry?

This UK hub aims to understand whats happening in the UK labor market in these sectors. It is dedicated to young professionals working (or planning to work one day) in the tourism, culture and heritage fields.

By sharing our experiences and point of view on a topic we will choose each trimester, the goal of this hub is to provide solutions and answers about opportunities to understand ongoiing trends. Our team will provide an abstract of the debate each trimester, while launching the new debate for the next trimester.

The first ongoiing debate choosen in the French version of this hub is about the connections between the university trainings and courses in natural and cultural heritage management/enhancement/... and the labor market? So, do not hesitate to say what you know, what you have experienced, to bring ideas.
