Symbian foundation (Thursday, August 14, 2008)

About a month ago, and to mark the 10th anniversary of Symbian, Nokia completed the buy of the remaining shares it didn't already own in Symbian. At the same time they made an announcement stating that, joining forces with UiQ and MOAP(S), Symbian OS was destined to become open source through the creation of the Symbian Foundation.
