Sometimes people think to love oneself is 'new age'. It could not be further from the truth.

There are Laws in the Universe, I am sure you are familiar with the Law of Gravity, and there are other Laws you do not see and they govern the harmony of the Universe. One of them is: positive attracts positive. This means if we do not love ourselves, we attract more negativity in our lives.

The thing is nobody has taught us really how we can love ourselves, what it really means. Plus we might have experienced pain, difficulties in our life to make it even more difficult to love ourselves.

And all the negative experiences, emotions, beliefs are stored in our subconscious mind. And so if we want to love ourselves, we need also to learn how to undo the subconscious negative programming.

Further more, the pressure on a woman is incredibly high, regardless of whether is single, married or not, employed or not; a woman might have to combine a family, children, career; not to mention if the woman is a single mum, ...

No matter the age, profession, race, nationality, etc. if we do not feel good about ourselves, our whole life is sabotaged.

We feel limited, powerless, small and we might even become depressed and suffer from anxiety or social anxiety.

If we do not feel good about ourselves, we might feel that creating the life we desire is difficult, if not impossible.

And it is not simply being confident, it is unleashing your magnificence.

It is not simply the potential is normally meant, your real potential is infinitely more than that.

Perhaps you have tried in many ways to feel confident, but still feel nervous or insecure or anxious at times; that happens when we do not let go of the subconscious negative programming.

The mind is like a computer. When we have a virus in the computer, we need to delete the virus; otherwise the computer does not work, no matter how many new programs we put in the computer.

The Fruitmarket Gallery’s winter exhibition is a solo presentation of the work of Swiss artist Roman Signer.

This, his first exhibition in Scotland, presents new work made since 2000 in the context of Installation (2006), a reworking of classic film works from as far back as 1975. Selected by the artist for The Fruitmarket Gallery, the exhibition provides both a snapshot of his current preoccupations and an insight into the themes and ideas that have inspired him throughout his long career.

The works in the exhibition present curious combinations of objects, forces and effects.
