Whether it be the up-market bars on George Street, or the historical bars in the Grassmarket & Royal Mile... Edinburgh has more establishments per head than any other UK city.
But where should you go?
Dance performance: Other Voices, Other Rooms Monday, February 18, 2008 A very special dance performance opens this Tuesday at Freemansons' Hall. Created for the magnificent spaces of Edinburgh's Freemasons' Hall, a group of dancers and actors lead audiences of 30 only on an intimate promenade performance around the spacious building. Each room has been specially designed to offer a different sensory experience and the live music is provided by Tom Murray. This is the latest work by Scottish-born, X Factor creator and artistic director Alan Greig, who trained at Laban and Central School of Ballet, takes the company, literally, into new terrain, and a distinctive one at that.
