Glasgow is hosting the 2014 Commonwealth Games!!! Friday, November 9, 2007 Tadtalatalda...Here they are! After so many months of hope, preparation and hard work, Glasgow eventually won the race for the Games. The result of the vote has been given today on George Square, where many gathered to hear the good news and celebrated it. Scotland's First Minister Alex Salmond said to the BBC:"We will make these games the greatest sporting event our country has ever seen." The Games means a lot for the city and the whole country like the creation of jobs, business bonds,etc. What are your expectations for those games?? Please let us all know! Tchusss Julie |
