I own The Clark Group, an International Business Group of Independent Consultants. Our business develops and expands market share for major corporations such as Barnes & Nobles, Circuit City, Nike, Bass Pro Shop and several others through "social networking" or as referred to in its business term: "viral marketing". Viral marketing refers to marketing techniques that use pre-existing social networks to produce increases in brand awareness, through self-replicating viral processes. It can be word-of-mouth delivered or enhanced by the network effects of the Internet. It is by this process the internet has evolved from Web 1.0 to Web 2.0.
