I am Franco-American, currently residing in the US and I wish to start a career in Human Resources. I just finished a one-year internship in HR for Air France in New York and started looking for a job a couple of weeks ago. The economy being what it is right now, I am definitely welcoming any piece of advice or lead to a good job search.

Thank you for the invitation to join your group. I am a technical recruiter in the US living in Palm Springs in the California desert. I work specifically in high level IT and
engineering disciplines. I feel the US has only recently became a global economy and we are in many ways much less worldly than our counterparts in other areas of the world. I am often in awe when I meet people from other countries who are world traveled and effortlessly speak several languages. I have had the opportunity to travel some and wish I could speak more languages, have polished my Spanish as we do lots of Mexican vacationing.

Professionally I moved to recruiting when I realized it was the only part of my regional management position I really enjoyed.
