Inspiration for Entrepreneurs
Monday, August 31, 2009

You are going to love this...

It is a well known truth that by modelling the behaviour of the top entrepreneurs and business brains in the world you can start enjoying amazing results much faster than if you try to figure it all out yourself.

The difficulty though, has always been accessing the world's top entrepreneurs. They rarely have any time to share their knowledge and when they do they are very, very expensive.

So bottling up the best strategies, ideas and advice from the world's most successful individuals would be absolute gold-dust for the lucky few who could get their hands on such information.

What I am about to share with you has not yet been officially launched. It's in pre-launch phase which means you can join for near to nothing and get to hear from some of the best entrepreneurs on the planet.

It's brand new, I've just joined myself and I really think you should know about it.

You can take a look here:

.The YSL sale: mission accomplished

The saying according to which exceptional works of art always sell, in particular in a time of crisis, has never been so well confirmed. The sale of the collection built by Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé, which lasted three days from 23 to 25 February, proves it in a striking manner. The organizers – in this case Christie’s, owned by François Pinault -
were like cats on a hot tin roof. The works of art had been estimated last year, before the crash, and Pierre Bergé had received some generous guaranties. It would have been very difficult to bear the financial consequences if the sale had been a failure. The global estimates, pushed during the more optimistic period up to 600 million euros,
and had been wisely divided by more than two. There was no sense in being worried:
that was obvious from the first day with sales proceeds at 206 million euros, including a Matisse, The cuckoo birds, blue and pink rug,
at 35.6 million euros, a record for the artist (and twice ...

Share an article: Keep Fueling Your Team's Aspirations
Thursday, January 8, 2009

With the recession’s consequences piling up and no end in sight, it’s harder than ever –- and absolutely crucial –- to keep your team engaged and motivated to improve and innovate. But even in a resource crunch you can fuel their aspirations to make better products, develop more skills, and advance their careers. The trick is the right combination of realism and positivity. Acknowledge the constraints you’re all working under while emphasizing what you can accomplish together. Focus on execution: getting the work done and done well. When you show you’re taking control where you can and delivering concrete results for the company, you send the signal that, despite the recession, your team can make a positive difference. You’ll not only keep their aspirations alive, you’ll sustain yours, too.

Share an article: Now's the Time to Strengthen Bonds with Customers
Thursday, January 8, 2009

A single-minded focus on slashing costs is a natural response to tough times, but it can be a huge mistake if it affects customers negatively. When the economic outlook grows bleak, customers become more selective about the companies they do business with. That means you can't afford to let your bonds with your customers fray right now -- in fact, you need to strengthen them.

Help your organization balance cost-cutting with investing in customer relationships. Even relatively small gestures can send signals that your company values its customers. For instance, after an ice storm left tens of thousands of households without power just before Christmas, some hotel chains offered discounts to people forced to leave their homes and find other lodging.

BONNE NOUVELLE ET

excellente surprise :
