1. JOB PURPOSE
The Territory Manager will be responsible for managing, monitoring and the maintenance of dynamic and static content on the Company?s Sportsbook, gaming sites, its various sub-domains and mini-sites. They will also be responsible for working with the marketing teams to ensure that the Company are carrying out relevamt high quality activities relevant to the territory.
In association with the Senior Operations Manager, the various Product Managers and the marketing team, the Territory Manager will lead their team to ensure the Company?s on-line presence effectively supports the delivery of the wider business objective, whilst adhering to the Company?s ?brand? guidelines.
Building an efficient team and developing effective working relationships with the various internal functions and departments will prove critical in meeting targets focussed on driving profitability in our your primary territories.
2. DIMENSIONS
- Day-to-day management responsibility for the Publishing Team of initially (upto) two Sportsbook Editors.
- Work with the marketing team to manage and co-ordinate CRM specific to that territory
- Responsible for ensuring the highest levels of editorial quality across all of our client's branded sites relevant to that territory, across all products
- Work with trading to ensure comprehensive and relevant markets are produced in a timely manner
- Work with acquisition teams to maximise marketing campaigns
- Provide relevant KPIs to update senior management on territory performance
- Monitor and report on competitor activity
3. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- The publication of content items to the Sportsbook, its sub-domains and other sites ensuring adherence to Company ?brand? guidelines:
- The monitoring and checking of websites, that all content and data are correctly displayed of the highest level of quality, relevance to the territory, in the relevant language and up-to-date at all times.
- As the point oc contact for territory issues, the Territory Manager is expected to ensure that all customer facing products and applications are working to specification and that the appropriate support is being provided to the team by the various other functions (internal and external).
- Support the Senior Operations Manager in the assessment of Sportsbook and other product performance.
- Manage the day-to-day and on-going development of the Territory team, their workload and performance.
- Support the Senior International Operations Manager and CRM teams to develop and maintain a customer communication strategy for the territory, ensuring the highest levels of relevance and quality to all local language CRM and corresponding activity.
- Support activities of the customer acquisition teams by working with them to ensure all activity is relevant and that our client online presence achieve the best possible ROI.
- Proactively develop the offering for the territory, proposing business and product development initiatives
- Provide effective research of competitor activity in the territory.
- Produce periodic reports as required to measure territory performance.
4. QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Ideally educated to degree level/strong academic background.
- Native speaker of relevant language, with the ability to write intelligent and engaging content.
- Strong commercial awareness.
- Well developed knowledge and experience of betting products and the trading markets they operate in to deliver profit.
- The ability to write good English for a number of purposes and situations.
- At least two years relevant experience for another online betting/sports focussed company.
- Awareness and knowledge of online marketing.
- First class communication and interpersonal skills, able to build strong personal relationships with key stakeholders and staff.
- Excellent analytical skills, able to assimilate data and understand trends.
- Particular attention to detail, a working attitude that strives for ?right first time?, thoroughness and perfection.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
- Numerate and confident with technology, especially Microsoft Office tools, a knowledge of HTML, the Internet and e-commerce.
- Able to work on own initiative, confident in own ability, imaginative and creative.
- A keen interest in sports
5. OTHER INFORMATION
This role is most definitely not a 9 to 5 role and the jobholder may be required to work exceptional hours to deliver the ?day job?. Due to the nature of the industry, and the online sector in particular, flexibility in working patterns will be required to cover critical times for the business, which will include working weekends and evenings.
