Description

The Quality & Process Improvement Manager position is responsible for the implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of processes controlling the TIR Product line (PL).
He/ she has a specific role in developing and implementation of Knowledge Management procedures, tools and standards

Support the regularly Re- Certification Process by the External Certification body
Define the yearly TIR PL Policy and Objectives,
Schedule the yearly internal TIR PL Level Audits (ISO 9001, 14001), execute the Audits and track/ follow up the corrective actions. The TS Audit Tool has to be applied
Be the point of contact to customers for specific items in terms of global TIR PL QM and Improvement Management
Manage Project Quality Audits a/o Product Quality Audits on PL Management Request to ensure ISO Compliance
Manage Route Cause Assessments and Audits to identify Gaps and Potentials in Processes, Products and Structures on TIR PL Management Request
Support the yearly TIR PL Level Management review, the Identification of Findings/ Corrective Actions and the follow up control
Define metrics and set up Balanced Score Card (BSC) metrics for assigned TIR PL
Own the BSC reporting system for the TIR PL and interface with TSR QPI for consolidated TSR level reporting. Analyse BSC results and support the PL Management in the decision process of corrective actions
Support the definition of new processes and the refining/ correction of existing processes and Work Instructions (WI) to reflect the actual structure of the PL Business
In support of TSR directives, set-up and define an efficient Experience Response Team (ERT) system - working with Group interfaces (Project Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, etc.)
Manage the Experience Response Team feedback system for the TIR PL and coordinate with TSR QPI Knowledge Management to create effective feedback loops to facilitate the continuous improvement of the TSR organisation
Provide TIR PL a voice in the wider TSR QPI forum and in related communities external to TSR
Identification of improvement potentials using input like Audit Reports, Scorecards, NCR Analyses, ERT Feedback, Project Reviews etc and propose Actions and Improvement Programs to the TIR PL Management for agreement/ approval
Manage Continuous Improvement Actions in line with the assigned Process Owners to improve TIR PL processes, tasks and allocated Work Instructions, Templates and Tools
Manage defined Improvement Programs on request of the TIR PL Management a/o the assigned Process Owners. The 6S Methodology has to be used where appropriate. The interface with other product lines a/o functions has to be managed where necessary (cross functional approach)
Facilitate the Knowledge Management process within the TIR PL
Develop tools and standards to support the Knowledge Management within the TIR PL but also within the TSR activity


Qualifications

Engineering Masters Degree Experience in analysing & improving business processes and tools. Good knowledge of financial business drives and the ability to create convincing business cases in support of improvement projects
