Can any one tell me what are the legal restrictions in the U.S and N.Y.C. (federal, state and city) against using the term Doctor, Nutritionist, Healer, Herbalist, Health Advisor, Dietary Consultant and Nutritional Supplement in a professional capacity and for a non profit.

Occupations and vocations are usually regulated by each respective state's licensing law & regulations. See, for example, the agencies regulated by California's Department of Consumer Affairs via www.ca.gov
"go to" the "agency index" look under "consumer affairs" and/or each occupation you are interested in such as "psychology" or "medicine" etc.
