Hi there, I do not know if someone noticed the new Scottish water's ad which ends its slogan with GLASGEAU instead of GLASGOW. As far as I understood it, according to Scottish Water, the city s water is as clear as the one coming from French mineral sources. Is that what it really means? Any comment about it? Tschussss... Tadtalatalda...Here they are! After so many months of hope, preparation and hard work, Glasgow eventually won the race for the Games. The result of the vote has been given today on George Square, where many gathered to hear the good news and celebrated it. Scotland's First Minister Alex Salmond said to the BBC:"We will make these games the greatest sporting event our country has ever seen." If you haven't heard about it yet, tonight is Bonfire Night! Night in commemoration of the failure of "the Gunpowder Plot" dating from 1605. The Roman Catholic Guy Fawkes was caught on the 5th November with some gunpowder barrels within the House of Parliament and arrested with other conspirators in the attempt to blow it up. Glasgow celebrates this night with fireworks,music,lights and even a funfair to attract the youngests (from 5pm to 10pm). The fireworks will start at 7.30pm. ...
