· Reassess criteria and guidelines and outline responsibilities and goals of all parties (staff and the board, the grantee organization and their leaders, their chaperones, parents, host groups, and above all the youth);
· Develop description of the Cloud’s selection process and articulate the conditions for participation in the trips, emphasizing the importance we place on youth development
· Examine pros/cons of Cloud accompaniment during trip to maximize quality of experience and minimize our liability;
· Prepare formal training or orientation program addressing the political, cultural, social environment of the host country;
· Develop close coordination between Boston/Paris teams and between Cloud/Laboratoire/Nuage for expectations, responsibilities and goals
· Disseminate grant policies to non-profit organizations through meetings, phone conversations, printed material, and web sit
· Research youth art programs to be considered for annual trip
· Conduct site visits to grant candidates and current grantees
· Develop materials and recommendations for grants committee and board of directors regarding potential program to fund
· Assist candidates with information needed to prepare proposals
· Assist selected programs with Paris/Boston trip preparations
· Assist French group selected for Boston trip with trip logistics and during course of stay
· Coordinate French group’s participation in the Open House: Crossing Cultures event
· Create an atmosphere of international connectedness and appreciation of diversity within Cloud Place
· Research art-science or art-industry programs and collaborations
· Research possibilities for virtual interaction with Le Laboratoire and Labotech
· Explore other possibilities for collaboration with Le Laboratoire
· Plan the adult/fundraising trip to Paris for 2007;
