The role involves investigating operational issues, conducting feasibility studies and initiating capital projects to resolve them.
It includes building the capital investment programme and developing forward looking approaches to investment planning.

Asset Management
Building the non-infrastructure capital investment programme.
Identify solutions and improvements which ensure that production assets are capable of delivering acceptable service to customers.
Development and use of a new in-house software in order to give a novel approach to asset investment planning.
Preparation of the Strategic Business Plan setting the company’s strategy for the next five years and regulatory submission.
Capital planning and programme management, including authorisation process and issues/risk database.
Development of policies and procedures for asset management.
Development and use of asset management databases.

Project Management:
Responsible for capital maintenance projects.
Responsible for the inspection of assets, investigation of operational problems, identification of solutions, option costs and the prioritisation of investment needs.
Detailed feasibility studies for capital works .
Forecast, planning and follow-up of works.
Optimisation of production, treatment and pumping processes.
Risk management and prioritisation of maintenance activity.

Investment manager
Responsible for the investment plan.

Project manager assistant
Within a team of 10 people, in charge of the management of the construction of a water treatment plant .

Site Engineer
Manager of teams on the construction site.
