I am a Bioengineer, passionate about biotechnology and health. In parallel to a PhD thesis, I have worked for 5 years on research projects in the field of biosystems knowledge management (convert biotechnological data into information and knowledge through mathematical modelling).
I am currently working on the evaluation of business development project (spin-off) on the basis our the research results. Managing this project enabled me to work on setting bridges between science, academic institutions and the private and industrial sector. Gathering a network of people and being at the interface for coordinating these collaborations is a task I really enjoy, I feel comfortable with and is a professional objective I am looking for.
My professional experience together with my scientific knowledge enabled me to acquire a broad vision of the complete innovation process in a biotechnology based economy.
