Part of a 2d line support team which carries out all support activities for the Backbone network (ATM, Optical Fibbers), Backhaul network (ATM, Microwaves) and Access network (LMDS).
• Technical support.
• Integration and commissioning of ATM switches, Base Station, Terminal equipment and of services to the client.
• Participation to the RFP/RFQ, study of the proposals, negotiation and selection of the suppliers for the LMDS and ATM.
• Pre-sale technical support for wholesale and retail wholesale market.
• Writing of the technical specifications for wholesale services (GSM bakhauling and leased line, PABX linking-up).

Responsible for a 2d line support team which carries out all support activities for the switching and the IN system in the Operation and Maintenance department.
• 7/9 persons.
• ERICSSON AXE10 TL4 for the switching system. 1 ERICSSON AXE10 TL3 for the SCP, one SDP HP Unix platform for the SDP, one SMS SUN Unix Platform for the SMS.
• The IN services supported were CCS (call cashless service - prepaid card), ASC (access screening - transit) and I&B (Information and Business – Freephone).

• Following-up of the VPN-platform acceptance test (INAP tracing).
• Implementation of interconnection tests between DUTCHTONE-PLMN and FRANCE TELECOM national and international network.
• Supervision of the ALCATEL R4.1 to R4.3 SW update on ALCATEL NSS equipment.
• Supervision of the retrofit ALCATEL E10-B3 HW8330 to HW8360 on ALCATEL NSS equipment.
• Execution/verification and acceptance test plans of NSS elements in the AMSTERDAM, ROTTERDAM and ARHNEM sites.
• Implementation of interconnection tests (Q.763), PLMN-PSTN with 3 operators (KPN TELECOM, CASEMA, MCI-WORLDCOM).
• Implementation of the interconnection tests, PLMN-International gateway (via GLOBAL ONE). Execution and implementation of the Roaming Agreement as per IREG specifications with 20 other operators.
• Test and configuration in the network of the “echo canceller COHERENT EC-6000”, following-up of the EC-TELABS engineering solutions (EC8000duo connected on A-Interface).
• Test and verification of the indirect access, the DUTCHTONE carrier selection service (via APC platform, Access Profile Check) including reachability and billing tests.
• Test and verification of the SAGEM SIMBOX (Mobile phone connected to a PABX).
• Test and verification of the Number Mobile Portability (STP-DSC platform).
• Control and implementation (acceptance test) of the VMS (UNISYS) and SMSC (CMG) equipment.
• Providing on site training for the Dutchtone engineers with the Protocol tester K1205.
• Troubleshooting, fault resolution.
• Technical support.

I was part of an implementation and validation team, which provided total integration and management for an AXE10 switching system. I covered all disciplines to achieve this including data build, fault resolution and traffic management.
I was responsible for the integration, configuration and upgrading for 5 NSS (3 MSCs and 2 HLRs) equipments. During the implementation period, I assured the maintenance of the AXE10 system (MSC and HLR/AUC).
