Previsously Named Ugine&Alz, the Isbergues plant is part of the Stainless Steel Branch of ArcelorMittal and is a stainless steel cold rolling plant which produce 380 000 tons/years. ArcelorMittal is the world largest Steel Producer with a total production of 100 Million tons, equivalent to 10% of world steel output, and a turnover of US$ 90 billion. Responsibilities: • Responsible for the reliability activity – Participated to the implementation of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) in the maintenance service (pillar 3 of TPM: Planned Maintenance). – Ensure a good level of preventive maintenance and develop the usage of conditional based maintenance. – Manage the Continuous improvement activity within the maintenance service. • Follow up maintenance KPIs. • Daily follow up of the annealing and pickling lines ratios and issues in collaboration with production teams. • As from january 2008, global performance and improvement leader on a critical annealing and pickling line. Coordination and prioritization of all maintenance, process and production improvment activity. Achievements: • Implement a software to follow up the realisation of maintenance standard and of a technical document database application. • Arrange Focus Improvement workgroup and follow up of actions plan. • Implement a fast FMEA method to review the maintenance plan of our most critical equipments. • Spent 1 month in Acesita, Brasil, for Benchmark and technical exchanges. Acesita is another stainless steel subsidiary of the ArcelorMittal group. • After the implantation of a new Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (Maximo), definition and construction of maintenance KPIs and dashboards. | |

Arcelor Systems was a subsidiary of the Arcelor Group before the Arcelor-Mittal fusion. It used to manage the implementation and maintenance of the group’s information systems. Responsibilities: • Responsible for the maintenance of a maritime forward agent management system. (june 03 to april 05) => achievements: – Manage the activity of a 6 person team. – Manage the maintenance activity and evolutions of the systems (regarding functional and budget aspects). – Settle of a TMA (Tierce Mainteance Applicative) organization. – Support in method for other projects and maintenance help desks inside the department. • Consulting for the Arcelor Flat Carbon Steel Commercial organization as functional manager for the e-relation team. => achievements: – Manage the functional evolutions of the e-services (web-services and EDI) – Construction and monthly execution of dashboards to follow-up the non-prime selling process. – Implemented a tracking tool to follow up the help-desk activity of the team. | |
