After a degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, I am focusing in the field of data networking. I have chosen this field due to its ever evolving nature and quest to find the best possible way to send information effectively and efficiently.
I am looking forward for an international career and plan to start an MBA course this year.
I am very much tempted towards the finance sector as well and am looking forward to quench my thirst during my MBA studies.

Mauritius Telecom is the leading telecommunications operator in Mauritius and is involved in the provisioning of both domestic and international telecommunications services as well as in the sales of terminal units (telephone sets/data related equipment/PABX units). I am currently posted in the Planning & Development Section (Core Networks Division), where I look after the implementation of projects in the Data field. One of the major projects which I have been assigned concerned the setting up of a core network using the IP Technology, with the installation of routers and switches in the network. I acted as the lead project engineer and ensured that the defined scope of works were adequately followed. This network was set up for the deployment of triple play services in Mauritius. | |
