After studying to become an Agricultural engineer in the field of Plant breeding i found myself confronted with a complete lack of job opportunities in my home country. I started working as a computer specialist, helpdesk and systems administrator and worked myself up to the position of consultant in that field. Let's say that carriers work in mysterious ways...

Na mijn studie tot Landbouwkundig Ingenieur met specialisatie Plantenveredeling werd ik geconfronteerd met een gesloten arbeidsmarkt. Ik heb toen besloten van mijn computerhobby mijn beroep te maken en begon als helpdeskmedewerker en systeembeheerder. Daarna heb ik mezelf opgewerkt tot systeem specialist en technisch consultant. Nu ben ik ICT adviseur. Zo kan het nog eens vreemd lopen in een carriere.
