Moulinex French based multi national manufacturer of small domestic appliances. I was responsible for IT for UK but assisted in many countries on special projects. I managed multi-site, multi-disciplined IT team size that varied between 7 and 17. The estimated turnover was £280 million on a global turnover of £1,872 million. I submitted and agreed annual IT budgets (circa £3.5 million). New ERP and management systems enabled greater efficiencies, and helped increase turnover by 40% over a five year period, and returned the company to profitability. Service levels to key customers rose from 76% to 96%. In 2001 they merged with Brandt a French based multi national manufacturer of white goods. | |
