• Did a major reengineering on allocations of the flagship fund in 2006 by reducing the number of underlying funds from 70 to 30
• Responsible for continuous monitoring of invested managers.
• Set up of the New York Office (legal, accounting, documentation etc)
• Write the monthly reporting on both fund of funds

Business Development
• Opened the US research office of Finaltis in February 2005. Goal: to have a research office as well as initiate potential business development opportunities for the firm. Interviewed US based managers for due diligence as well as developed relationships with banks, brokers and providers to developed structured products. Worked on structured notes with banks for clients.


Portfolio Management
• Started a managed account platform of quantitatively managed funds. Started two fund of funds invested in systematic strategies
o Oversaw the process from manager selection (mostly US based) and portfolio construction
o Oversaw all operational aspects of the set up (legal documentation, back office, marketing materials, relationships with brokers and administrator)
o Developed all processes for managing the products internally including investor updates (weekly) and risk reports (daily). Products had daily and weekly liquidity.

Hedge Fund Analysis & Due Diligence
• Performed due diligence on hedge funds covering all the strategies (Long/short, arbitrage, event driven, CTAs) for a fund of funds ($90M AUM)

• Structured and negotiated deals in the telecom sector and software sector
• Participated to the sell of the French leading online travel agency to the major listed company in the space in Europe
• Helped to restructure start-ups by organizing new rounds of refinancing. Performed business continuity planning including calling for new funding at nominal share value, or liquidating companies
• Business development support for US portfolio companies targeting the European market
• Participated in panels and TV interviews on venture capital topics.
