	The CNSC is the Canadian regulator of the nuclear industry. As a geosciences specialist, I am responsible for the geoscientific aspects(geomechanics, hydrogeology, contaminant transport)related to the safety assessment of nuclear facilities, including nuclear reactors, waste management facilities, and underground disposal of nuclear wastes.I cooperate with researchers from other countries (France, UK, Germany, China, Sweden, Finland, Japan..) on experimental and mathematical research on geological disposal of nuclear wastes.
