Project 1: Aircraft Interiors Certification Responsibilities: Stress Analyst Results: Analysis and certification of Galleys installed in a boeing 747 and an Airbus A380, Stress notes drafting. Methodology: Finite element modeling with the use of FEMAP and MSC Nastran, Check of Tsaï-Hill criteria for composite structures, Hand calculations using Bruhn methods. Project 2: Study of the sunshiel deployement of the James Webb Telescope Responsibilities: Stress Analyst and Mechanical Engineer Results: Design studies with Gossamer Technology. Finite element modeling of the sunshield deployment sequence and analysis of plies appearance when totally deployed. Methodology: Brainstorming and use of value analysis methods (APTE), Non-linear finite element modeling with the use of SAMCEF. | |
