I am in charge of performing several life cycle assesments. An LCA enables the identification of the environmental impacts associated to a product/process during its whole life cycle.

Sector: Water - Electricity - Gas

Research Project: “Determination of the Environmental Footprint of New Product Introduction”
- Established the life cycle assessment of tablet processing;
- Identified the hot spots of the manufacturing process;
- Performed a laboratory-based work aiming at removing the active ingredients from waste water effluents.

Sector: Pharmaceutical

“Development of protocols for the analysis of bromate and oxyhalides in water using Ion Chromatography”:
- Studied the effect of interferences with the determination of compounds of interest;
- Carried out the NS30 method validation.

Sector: Environment - Agriculture

- Carried out quality control tests;
- Took part in the development project “Washing and disinfection with low temperatures”: sample preparation, control and analysis of results.
