Robert-Vernot Koller

Robert Koller specialises in funds and corporate work.

After working for two years in the financial markets department of a top law firm in Madrid he joined Hassans International Law Firm’s Fund team in Gibraltar as an associate, focusing on the German speaking countries, Spain and Latin America.

Robert has expertise in funds (retail, private and hedge funds) as well as capital markets (including derivatives and ISDA documentation), project and asset finance. Robert also has experience in corporate and corporate finance work, including take-overs, private placements, Public Private Partnerships, compliance and M&A. He was involved in establishing electronic trading platforms for clients and has worked also in Mexico, France, Germany and the UK.

Before joining Hassans Robert worked for the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Spanish Mint.

Educated in Austria, Robert graduated with honors from Graz University and then studied at the Madrid Autonomous University obtaining a Spanish law degree. He is qualified as a Spanish lawyer and is admitted to the Gibraltar Supreme Court as a European Lawyer. He is a Certified Alternative Investment Analyst, Level II Candidate.
