Platform Team Manager
KIS is in charge of the product generation for the Photo-Me group, number 1 worldwide in the identity photo market and number 3 in the photo mini-lab area.
Mission:
· Closed relationship with the suppliers (mostly Asian suppliers) and the purchasing department.
· Definition and standardization of hardware devices (computers and peripherals) used in KIS Vending Machines.
· Put in place a team in charge of the qualification of hardware devices that will be re-used across all projects.
· Led a project of electronic payment system through GPRS for the kiosks operated by Photomaton.
· Managed the implementation of an automated face positioning system for ID photos as per the ICAO standards.
· Managed the transition from Windows 2000 to Windows XP Embedded.

Key competencies:
· Understanding of the design and operations constraints related to the vending machines (User Interface, mechanical, optical, regulatory, electrical…).
· Managed a small team (9 people) interacting across various projects.
· Good knowledge of the PC comedy and the outsourcing processes.

2002 - 2003 : HYNIX Semiconductor France

Field Application Engineer
Hynix is the third largest DRAM producer. The Paris office is in charge of the customers located in South Europe.
Mission:
· Presentation of memory roadmaps and technology trends to the Europeans customers.
· In charge of the qualification of DDR products on various platforms.
· Handle quality issues reported by customers.
· Implemented a sourcing scheme using local modules houses for a major customer in China.

· Improved my knowledge on the semiconductor market and technologies.
· First approach of the business side.

2000 - 2002 : HP USA

BIOS Project Engineer
Based in the Silicon Valley, this HP division develops IA32 multiprocessors servers: the HP NetServer.

Mission:
· In the R&D department, in charge of the HP Netserver LH6000/LT6000r since launch.
· Member of the team developing the new high-end x86 servers, the HP NetServer tc6100/rc7100: Architecture, specification, coding, debugging, technical interface with some of the vendors.
· In parallel, acting BIOS architect: Monitored the technology trends for the other system teams, performed the competitive analysis, member of the Product Generation Re-engineering team.

· In touch with the latest technologies.
· Ability to analyze the “whole picture” of the systems in order to give long-term directions.
· Teamwork in a multi-cultural environment.

BIOS Engineer
Due to the high volume of production (more than 200 000 PC per month) and strong competition, this business unit had to outsource some activities and standardize its products.

Mission:
· In charge of the in house development of the HP Vectra BIOS.
· Then, externalized the BIOS development towards an OEM model.
· Led an international development team based in France, the United Kingdom and Taiwan for the Vectra VLi8 then VL600.
· Member of the Year 2000 team in charge of the transition to the new millennium for the Vectra line.

· Deep knowledge of the PC technology and its key actors.
· Project management in an international environment.
· Capability to handle industrialization of high volume products and their associated risks.
· Good understanding of the cultural differences while working with Asians companies.

Mission:
· Designed a Digital Network Communication Card for PABX. In charge of the hardware design of the CPU section, then implementation of the real-time firmware.
·Developed a test software for a smart card reader.

· Electronic design tools.
