Hello, i am 27 years old, i am a mechanical engineer experienced in the automotive and in the aircraft industries. I am French but did all my career in Germany, what enabled my to implement my language skills, I can speak German fluently indeed and I also often speak English with foreign people of the company or to fill official technical documentation.
Concerning aeronautics, I had a 5 month placement (09.2002-01.2003) at MTU in Munich, where I had my first experience in engineering computations. The goal consisted in validating a code using comparison between bench tests and fluid mechanical computations.
My second experience, since late 2005, deals with electrical design of customized harnesses for Airbus A380 in Hamburg, through the subcontractor High End Engineering (HEE). This is a designer job which requires a lot of technical skills in all Airbus specific software and internal tools (Catia V4, VPM, Dvise…), after one year experience I could work in the final assembly line of the first A380 to make proposals and implement late solutions with really short deadlines.
The second significant experience was at the Robert Bosch com-pany (Bühl, 03.2004-09.2005). I worked after my final wear placement in a R&D department and wrote a thesis about the possible improvements of the topology of the pinion housing of starters for car engines, leading to design rules guarantying a better stiffness of the system, taking into account costs, material and fabrication issues. It was almost a simulation job using Abaque v6 and TOSCA (optimization tool). The rules lead to spare until 5% of material and to enhance the stiffness of the housing of the starter until 40%. A test bench allowed to confirm these computational results regarding experi-mental tests on different starter topologies.
