I have a good experience in design and coding, especially in OO technologies, DBMS and SOA. I conceived and developped multi-third applications, in all steps from users-specification to production, in a real professionnal context during trainings. Then I took part in development of core-business software for banking and insurance industry for Business Solutions Builders (BSB).
I demonstrated my architectural competences (client/server, n-third, various application servers, heavy and light clients) at the time of the realization of applications and the implementation of various EAI processes.
Being fond of state-of-the-art in technologies innovations, I do a constant technological survey on web, opensource and SOA domains.
My business knowledge covers parts of the financial domain, in banking and life-insurance, particularly securities and orders.

During this end of studies project, I automated the task of preparing misc computed banking activities. I designed, realized and tested a tool managing on-demand JOB requests (treatments on the mainframe). The application has three-tier J2EE architecture. It allows employees to submit directly their requests (bounded by precise rights and validations). They can follow-up them and see the history of all executions. JOBs parameters input forms (551 JOBs) are automatically managed thanks to XML models. Such innovation divided the workload of all these screens to only ~5%. ________________________________________________________________________________ My interventions: Analysis of existing buisiness process and interview of key management persons Writing of functional specification following users requirements grabed during meetings Technical design of a three-tier system coupling application server and mainframe Creation of an innovating module of XML dynamic forms management Self tuition on Silverstream J2EE environnement Functional and technical specification in UML Prototype and application realization SQL queries optimization for DB2 Unit and integration tests (between application server and mainframe) Technical documentation and developers guide Users guide writing and users training Deployment in acceptance then production Took part in the project management ________________________________________________________________________________ Mastered technologies: J2EE, Swing, SilverStream MS Project DB2, SQL Visual SourceSafe (VSS) Mainframe MVS, REXX, JCL, PVCS ________________________________________________________________________________ Results: This 6 months project permitted the Kredietbank to realize an economy of two employees (premature retirements). ________________________________________________________________________________

This training took place in context of the SICOV project (aiming at creating virtual organizations), in collaboration with the statistical research center CEPS/INSTEAD. My work focused on the design and development of a system managing surveys. The tool is accessible both under a Lotus Notes client by surveyors and reserchers, and directly under Internet by surveyed companies. It manages multilingual surveys and offers an effective way of entering responses. The programm also permit to generate and print the forms ready to be sent and to export the results to a spreadsheet. ________________________________________________________________________________ My interventions: Research : study of the limits of the groupware platform Lotus Notes Analysis and technical design of the surveys managing software Autonomous project management Self learning of development on Lotus Notes environment ________________________________________________________________________________ Mastered technologies: Lotus Notes, Domino, LotusScript HTML, JS VBA ________________________________________________________________________________ Results: Software has been tested and deployed at the CEPS/INSTEAD. ________________________________________________________________________________

This training has been realized at a French laboratory of the CNRS. It concerned the controling software of a powerfull mass spectrometer (7 specimens in the world, costs 2000 k).This is mainly used for the isotopic analysis of geological or biological samples (moon rock, prehistoric pollen
) I analyzed and documented the existing software written in Labview, a data-flow driven programming language. Then, I developed two additional modules: Calibration of the secondary ionic beam before each acquisition Preliminary scanning of the surface layer of each sample ________________________________________________________________________________ My interventions: Self-tuition with the system Sun Solaris and the Labview language Technical documentation of the entire software Design and development of functions improving the process of automated acquisition ________________________________________________________________________________ Mastered technologies: Labview Sun Solaris IMS1270 Mass spectrometer ________________________________________________________________________________ Results: The presence of a technician during automated acquisitions is not needed anymore. ________________________________________________________________________________
