* Developed a framework based on the RFID and semantic web technologies, and enabling a semantically rich dynamic and automated integration of software systems and aiming at increasing the performance, ease of use and safety of home robotic systems.
* Studied the potentials of convergence between the robotic and building automation technologies, in collaboration with telecom operators and homebuilder companies, and development of a prototype of smart robotic home.
* As the representative of the Japan Robot Association (JARA), took active participation in the robotic technology standardization activities within the Object Management Group (USA, home of UML and CORBA), involving more than 20 organizations internationally, chaired the working group dedicated to localization systems and technology.
* Published more than 10 scientific papers for international conferences, involvement in several official press-releases.

* Led the development of a CORBA-based middleware for large scale distributed service robotic system called the RT Middleware. Surveyed existing technology worldwide. Analyzed software requirements in order to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Successfully managed a 3-person development team.
* Evaluated and designed novel robotics system concepts after consulting with potential customers, set up and presented public releases of our new robotic systems and prepared technical reports for the use of management and sales engineering personnel.
* Researched, designed and developed intelligent algorithms related to self-localization, navigation, behavior management and monitoring for the carrier mobile robot "HOSPI" that led to the filing of 10 patents. The robot was deployed in several hospitals, research centers and factories.

Software project manager. Interfaced with marketing to specify software requirements for new billing services. Coordinated with development teams. Managed testing and quality control.
* 1998 to 1999 : Peugeot-Citroen (Automotive Industry)
Analyzed user requirements and modeled the information flow supporting the management of automotive innovation projects. Implemented a prototype Enterprise Resource Planning solution integrating database servers, Web clients and project management software.
