After my master’s degree at the Sorbonne University, which supplied me with strong theoretical knowledge about economics, corporate strategy, finance and statistics, I worked for more than a year in the EMEAR headquarters in Paris of a leading American company.
As an intern in the finance department, I gained solid analytical and problem solving skills. I was responsible for identifying and resolving financial reporting issues, as well as generating innovative methods to improve our processes.
After that I was employed as a market survey and pricing analyst in the marketing department. In this position, I was in charge of the annual sales and market statistics report accompanied with detailed marketing analysis on the product ranges. Moreover, I implemented new processes to support business on emerging markets and led several market surveys with the business units.
I also fine-tuned my communication and consensus building skills, as I often needed to present and market my work to middle and upper management.
Furthermore, I have lived in several countries, which gave me the possibility to learn various languages and understand different cultures. It certainly gave me adaptability skills and invaluable experience in dealing with a wide range of different people and situations.
