NORTHSIDE is the buying office for a French company specialized in sourcing and importing gift and promotion items. Customers are mainly mail orders companies (ex: Redcat group companies). - Manage 6 people: * Sourcing team : 3 merchandisers, each specialized either in gifts and home, bags and accessories, and consumable goods for airline industry (amenity kits, blankets…) * Order follow up team : 3 merchandisers assistants in charge of orders follow up - Assess and select Chinese suppliers, through frequent visit to factories - Assist merchandisers in decision’s making, before passing the order - Production set up - Follow up of production’s compliance - Set up and follow up of lab testing to comply with EN regulations and quality standards, in collaboration with laboratories (BV, SGS, LNE…) and suppliers - Report production status to French mother company - Manage retro planning and follow up tools - Animation of the online sourcing system - Implement ISO 9001:2000 management standard in Northside Hong Kong office | |

Gueydon is the number 1 toys wholesaler for French market, and among the 3 first specialized retailers - Design packaging for all the goods part of Gueydon’s 20 private labels (approximately 300 items), in collaboration with external designers and factories - Control final packaging’s compliance with graphic charters - Control normative markings compliance with EN safety regulations and standards - Quality control follow up - Implement social audits - Set up corrective actions - Develop close relationship with suppliers through regular contacts and visits | |
