Sector: Railway transportation

In partnership with an Italian friend and others we created and maintainted a website running an online Pro Evolution Soccer (The most popular football game) tournament including a league and other tournaments, involving players from around the world.

Thanks to an official partnership with KONAMI (The Game Creators) and advertisment in various magazines and websites (Joystick Magazine, Game One Tv Channel, Konami's Website ...) this led to a higher interest than expected, causing the website to become unmanagable with our resources. The main lesson i learnt was not to only focus all attention on one area as i did with the functionality of the website neglecting other areas such as the unexpected popularity of the website.

I can still give a presentation of this website which no longer exists online. (PHP - MySQL / Javascript / CSS)
