The French University College was founded in Moscow in 1991 by French intellectual Marek Halter and Russian scientist and intellectual Andrei Sakharov. Today, among its main partners, are the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the French Ministry of Education, many major French universities and higher education institutions (among which the Sorbonne and the Higher School of Social Sciences aka EHESS), major Russian universities (the French University College is located on the campus of MGU, the best-known Russian university, and also educates students from the Higher School of Economics, the Moscow State Law Academy, the Russian State Humanities University (RGGU), among other famous institutions in Russia). Over 1000 students every year are offered an opportunity to get a free education with the French University College, enabling the best and most motivated to receive a French government grant to obtain a Masters degree in France from several of our best universities and higher education institutions, in such a broad range of disciplines as History, Sociology, Literature and Law. | |
