Consultant for the society Alten, i'm currently in position in Valeo GmBH in Munich as a Front Office Quality engineer. Graduated in Material science in 2006, I have done several experiences in various structures of resarch and development. Having Worked as a technician in university laboratories (Brazil and France), as a research engineer in an institute (Australia) and as R&D engineer in automotive industry (Valeo), I have acquired knowledge and a different point of view on the world of work.
The fact that I've chosen international experiences has allowed me to take up a personal and professional challenge. The result of this is a certain adaptability to various working environments.
During this five last years, i've acquired theorical and practical knowledge in materials, chemistry and physics as well as in project management.

Front Office Quality Engineer

Working for Alten society, i´m doing a mission in Valeo GmbH in Munich since April as a Front Office Quality Engineer. I manage Quality for a customer (car manufacturer): 0kms Warranty, Warranty Returns and Initial Samples presentation. Finally, i´m working also on the dispatching of costs due to Quality problem. So i´m directly in contact with the customer, different departments (Quality, R&D, Buyers, Laboratory) of Valeo and with suppliers too.

2006 : VALEO Engine Cooling |
R&D Engineer
| |
VALEO Engine Cooling (Laval, CA 2005: 132 millions of euros and 536 employed peoples) is a VALEO group branch, international automotive supplier, CA 10 milliards of euros and 70400 employed people in 96 countries. Within the engineering department and the laboratory: - Aims : Understanding the corrosion phenomena of radiator tubes and setting up a representative bench test. - Methodology : Participation to a Task Force, actions realised for the problem resolution, bibliographical and specifications sheet studies, work with Production people - Results : preventive actions launched, validation plan for a new radiator launched too and encouraging test results.

2005 : BRAGG INSTITUTE |
Researcher
| |
Bragg Institute, situated in Menaï (Australia), is an international leader in X-Rays and Neutrons Beam. Research orientations go from chemistry, study of Ceramics, X- Rays science to polymers. The aim of the placement that i have done there, was to realise oxygen deficient thin films in order to apply this material as a cell fuel electrode or as a membrane. Thin films isn´t the Bragg Institute´field of predilection, so i had to be autonomous on the main part of the project. missions: raalisation of bibliographical studies, contacts and collaborations with ANSTO Researchers (Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation) specialized in thin films, definition of the preparation of solution, wafers, of the way of coating and the heat treatments, realisation of thin films and characterization. results: thin films prepared and characterization shows a different cristallographic structure of the one expected.

2004 : LARMAUR |
Technician
| |
LARMAUR (Rennes University Research LAboratory in Applied Mechanic) is part of CNRS. Research orientations are Surface mechanical properties, modelisation and simulation of mechanical contact and the mechanical behaviour of fragile materials (glass and ceramics). The subject was to study the impact of a compressive field on the crackability of a glass. missions: - create an assembly allowing the production of a compressive field - preparation of samples (cutting, polishing and thermical treatments in order to avoid residual stresses) - realisation of cracks using the cracking machine - optical characterization of cracks results: - impact of compressive field demonstrated - role of annealing is interessant

2003 : LIEC |
Technician
| |
LIEC (Laboratory Interdisciplinary of Electrochemistry and Ceramics) situated in São Carlos (Brazil) is internationally known for its research works. Research orientations are, ceramics , sensors, cosmetics and nanomaterials. I´ve worked on a project of realisation and characterization of new materials for opto-electronic applications. missions: bibliographical studies, realisation of powders and thin films, characterizations (X-Rays; IR, Raman and UV-Vis spectroscopy; TGA; photoluminescence). results: project have been finalized
