- Datacollection : specifications, volumes and prices, trough a questionnaire on Excel for each group entities, or trough an e-RFI for suppliers, consolidation on Excel
- RFP sent : design of the suppliers quotation sheet, suppliers quotations analysis trough a database on Excel, savings estimates on Excel
- Negotiation files : on Powerpoint, meeting minutes in French/English
Achievements :
* 41% savings on Office IT Equipments (35 % if you take in account price decrease % that usually occur on IT market each year)
* 16 % savings on Pre-print bills
* 11 % savings on envelopes, less items used
Commodity Teams were organised with a Core Team (1 Team Leader, 1 or 2 AT Kearney consultants, specifiers, 1 or two Business Analyst depending on the volume of work to do) + extended team members for legal questions, and person representatives of the different entities to make sure the products we negotiated fits their company needs, most of the time they were buyers.
