I worked in the Oil Industry for over a decade years learning the tricks of the data management and application development trade, located variously in London, Aberdeen (Scotland), and Dubai.
I then spent several years as a freelance Oracle DBA, woking in mobile phone communications, finance and TV.
I spent 2007 writing my software, the OnDemand Reporter, in partnership with a company in London. This tool is written for business users who want to apply their own data translation rules to input datasets without the need to call on IT assistance - it allows them to define summarisation rules and seamlessly produces graphs and reports with minimal fuss.
On a personal basis I recently moved with my family to Javea in Spain, and have started helping several estate agents with back office processes (primarily villa availability applications and customer management philosophies).
