I had an intern position within the R&D department. Mission: - Determination of a representative cyclic load of a turbine blade (hot part of an air breathing engine) - Behavior analysis in terms of stresses and strains of an elasto-visco-plastic material - Meshing of a representative sample part with CATIA and PATRAN - Computation of the stabilized cyclic response of the structure using the direct cyclic method implemented in ABAQUS for a simplified material behavior and the elasto-visco-plastic material behavior developed by Snecma - Comparison of the stabilized responses given by the direct cyclic approach and the transient analysis and validation of the direct cyclic method |
