| Marc BOUCHET joined GEMALTO’s Intellectual Property and Licensing Department in 2006 (a merger between AXALTO and GEMPLUS, both world leaders in Smart Cards), and became head of GEMALTO’s Licensing Group. He is in charge of the Licensing negotiations worldwide.
Prior to joining GEMALTO’s IP and Licensing, Marc was responsible for coordinating Sales Operations activities from 2004 as EMEA Sales Operations Director for AXALTO (formerly SCHLUMBERGER’s Smart Card Division), using his experience acquired in previous sales positions. In this role, he managed Customer Service teams, Technical Validation teams and coordinated manufacturing process’s involving several of AXALTO’s production sites worldwide, streamlining and accelerating shipments of billions of products sold to hundreds of customers worldwide. He also built several sales operations management reporting tools and was involved in CRM (Customer Relations Management) activities and working groups.
Prior to that, Marc held various International Sales and Management positions in SCHLUMERGER (the world leader in Oilfield Services), working for its Resource Management Services since 1985, then for its Electronic Transactions Division since 1996, in roles from Key Accounts Director to Region Sales Director, managing Sales and Technical Support teams. From 2000 to 2003, he was EMEA Sales Director - Mobile Communications – Smart Cards Group of SCHLUMBERGER, and responsible for sales above 100 million USD.
Marc started his career in 1984 as a Sales Engineer in GSI - a software company specialized in business solutions for finance, manufacturing, payroll and human resource services (then a subsidiary of CIT-ALCATEL, now part of ADP).
He holds a degree in Economics from University of Paris II - Panthéon Assas, and a Business School diploma in Finance and Business Administration from ISG, Paris. He is a member of the Licensing Executive Society. Marc is fluent in French and English, and conversant in Spanish. |
