| Hello,
I am a Chinese, and I am currently a final year student in Business and Management Studies at the ICN Business School, one of France’s selective Graduate Management School. As an integral part of my three year programme, I am required to spend a period of six months on a professional placement in commerce or industry, and I enquire whether I could put my professional skills and personal qualities to use in your company between January and August 2007.
After four years study of International Economics and Business in China, I decided to continue my further study in France. At the ICN an international business school, the students are from at least ten different countries. The multicultural study life has a great influence on my mind as has the high quality teaching.
I choose Marketing as my major, because I have a character that suits marketing: I am a creative and courageous person, and my active mind is always analysing the things. Furthermore my systematic study develops my knowledge in this dynamic field, where there is always something new. I am excited to put all my energy to work.
I like travel, and I enjoy travelling alone. That is a great experience and I am sure that can help me a lot in my marketing profession: When I arrive in a new place or country, everything is just new and I don’t know anyone. It needs me to open my mind and my eyes to see, to discover and to taste a new life, especially to make friends with new people. That is an experience full of surprise and gives me new ideas of different cultures.
I had a placement in a purchasing consultant company at Paris for 7 months. This job with its intensive teamwork, has taught me to process new and diverse information, to analyse a vibrant market but most of all has developed my work ethic.
I was in England for quite a while to study English as this language is a vital skill. I speak fluently French. Furthermore Chinese and Cantonese are my mother languages.
I am looking forward to putting my energy to use while working with your company.
