Actually Assistant manager in a luxury resort in Seychelles. Planning to keep on working in expatriation so as to challenge myself and discover other cultures.
I'm totally devoted to my work and I keep looking for new things to learn from Front Office as well as from other departments.
I really think that the hotel industry is wonderful because everything is about the people, your coworkers, the guests, the outsourcing operators and that makes it lively and also ...unpredictable.
Next destination ? Carpe Diem.

Working in Maia is not only a job, it is a whole philosophy. In a lot of Luxury Resort, the real sens of service is forgotten, In Maia we work everyday harder to provide our guest with an intuitive and emotional service. The guests are not anymore in a hotel but they are i there "Home away from home". Working in that kind of resort helped me understand better the expectations of this clientele. The hotel is located in Seychelles and that was a real daily challenge to be able to fulfill our guests expectations in a country where everything tends to be harder than anywhere else in the world. As Mr Vidal (General Manager) wanted someone with good multitask abilities, he asked me not only to take the responsibilities of being his assistant, but also to get involved in the front office department which is the key of the hotel, in charge of making sure that the communication goes correctly between all the department. Working there helps me to learn very quickly how to deal with the guests, how to go the extra mile for them and how to manage staff, it is an incredible and unforgetable experience. www.maia.com.Sc

Although I was working as a DAily worker, I worked in the restaurant for more than 2 years very regularly ( from 1 extra per week to everyday ). As I was still studying, I began working as a capitain only for the summer season after they called me to go and take the restaurant while the responsible were going on leaves. This experience taugh me how to be very consistent in my work and the most important in this field, not to count the hours.
