Currently finalizing a vocational master in European law at the University of Rennes in France, I am looking for an international experience that offers a practical insight into European public affairs and European law.
I have a strong interest in the areas of international trade (very good knowledge of WTO law), competition (I am currently making a study about the EC Leniency program), Development and Agriculture (I wrote a dissertation on the incoherence between the CAP and the European Development Policy, when I was student at the Institute of Political Science in Aix-en-Provence, France).
I speak French (1st language), English (fluent), Spanish (good working level), and Dutch (Dutch-speaking family).
As the internship is meant to complete my diploma, it should start around April / May 2007 for a minimum period of three months.

I followed a nine-month-internship within the Secretariat of Global Reporting Initiative, a Dutch NGO specialized in Sustainability Reporting. As Governance Coordinator, I was mainly in charge of the administration of the Stakeholder Council, which acts as "the Parliament" of the organisation. The Stakeholder Council (60 Members) advises the Board on every important issue related to GRI's activities. My tasks consisted in coordinating the Council's yearly plenary session as well as working group meetings and conferences, which included logistics, minute-taking and budget management. I was also in charge of internal and external communication (production of a quarterly newsletter). | |
