Roadmusic... Moleskin is a French rock band which draws its name from one of Noir Désir's songs ("A l'arrière des taxis") and its music from the US rock of the seventies and eighties.

A bass, drums, two guitars and a harmonica revisit the kind while keeping in memory what was done best from Beatles to Metallica. Beatles for melody, Metallica for energy. Between these two great as distant influences in time as in the style, one finds environments of Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd or U2. The voice, powerful and marked, classes the band in a rock and no pop register. One could even speak about strong rock.

The music, as for it, is listened to on the road, at the wheel of a convertible crossing as well urban landscapes ("Car Jacker", "Save my soul") that bucolic ("Virgin Mary", "Evergreen") or desert ("Dock - Exit road").

2005 was marked by Moleskin's firsts concerts : in less that 6 months, the band did 20 gigs, a tour of 5 concerts in Slovenia, big stages in Paris (Batofar, Gibus...) and some others outside Paris (Lille, Orleans...).
2006 Moleskin continues gigs and plays in Festivals from Paris to Brussels. In september, Arnaud leaves the band. Thibaut is the new drummer. All songs benefit from his unique style, giving a new breath to existing songs and bringing his creativity for new ones. After a couple of months only, working very hard, he is ready for Moleskin's first album.
