FNAC, number one distributor of entertainment tickets in France, offers a selection of more than 6,000 cultural events and a total of almost 50,000 individual performances a year. The Billetel software solution is installed in all 350 FNAC ticket offices in France, Belgium and Switzerland, and also controls the company’s direct sales via the Web and by telephone. Billetel is also the solution used by the Carrefour and Geant hypermarkets. The feature-rich Billetel information system is behind the sale of over 12 million tickets per year. Among other tasks, assured the Quality of Service on a JAVA application with a very high visibility and high availability (ticketing software used in over 600 stores in France, Switzerland and Belgium) in the entertainment ticketing industry: Projects: • documenting of Standard Operating Procedures & Manuals (credit card fraud detection, ticket office installation guide), • assisting project managers in project planning, scheduling and communications (move of headquarters), • interconnection of Billetel ticketing network with SYSTEME U hypermarket central network. Regular tasks: • verification and drafting of the modus operandi prior to the deployment of software upgrades, • planning and deployment of updates/patches, • management of the hosting partners, • crisis management, incidents solving and communication to the partners/users, • management of a ticket office life cycle (from purchase of the equipments to installation and maintenance). | |

Managed the releases of the web platform SynerTools, planning of the release dates with the customers (about 30 covering all time zones) and communicating with their technical departments when necessary. Projects: • addition of new languages on the platform (Japanese, Chinese, Hungarian, Turkish, …): selection of an interpreter, creation of a glossary, planning of the delivery date, • migrating customer’s platform from shared to private servers (several gigabytes of data), • security audits with recognized professionals. The Kansas State University Atomic, Molecular, and Optical Physics (AMO) program is one of the largest in the country and ranked among the elite programs in atomic physics by US News and World Report. After the completion of two instrumentation programs coded with LabVIEW 6.1, the User Manuals were written and the final users were trained to use and maintain the applications.
