(High Tech eMarketplace | Rev: 3M€ - 40 persons) has been founded and funded with 40M€ in 2001 by 11 major pan-european Utilities (EDF, Electrabel, Enel, Endesa, Iberdrola, National Grid, Nuon, RWE, ScottishPower, United-Utilities, Vattenfall) in order to optimize their equipment-purchasing-process performance by sharing their technology and supply-base knowledge.
Jean-Philippe’s responsibilities are to: - Sell Eutilia Value proposition to CxO levels; Increase sales and reach profitability, - develop Eutilia’s growth strategy, design solution based value propositions, product development roadmap, sales and marketing plan; issue press releases; initiate strategic partnerships with distributors; optimise service delivery and organisation, - develop, present, get approval and execute a 3-rolling-years Business Plan, - guide, manage, assess and direct the Management Team, - manage and motivate an European sales & marketing force consisting of 5-10 FTE, - report to the Board of Director and shareholders according to Eutilia’s Governance, - protect the tangible assets and intellectual rights of the company, - develop and investigate Merger and Acquisition possibilities. |

Formerly belonging to the Ernst & Young SCM service line, Jean-Philippe joined the B2B purchasing practice for the Energy and Utility sector in 2000. He was in charge of selling and managing purchasing related projects (organising Board of Directors workshop, identifying potentials, selecting technology, project facilitation, Board Executive training, developing market analysis, business cases…).

As Project manager, managed assignments for sales performance improvement, for supply chain and production cost reduction, in different kinds of business (Hewlett Packard, Solectron, Maroc Telecom, Dior Perfumes…), which consist in organisation changes, management process implementation and work-flows optimisation. All those projects were directly managed by the CEOs and were ‘bottom line’ oriented.
Managed a 8 months Post Merger Integration for a pan-European steel industry (with subsidiaries in Germany, Italy and France), designing and implementing homogeneous procedures across the 3 countries. As Senior Consultant, participated to several performance improvement opportunities analysis and assignments, mainly in manufacturing and supply chain areas. |

In 1990, Jean-Philippe was “weapon and defense” officer on a ‘battle troop and helicopter carrier’, at the head of a 50-persons department.
