I've been working in Electronic Document Archiving since 1998, first as a Project Manager, than as a technical director, and now as a consultant in my own company.
I am a very pragmatic and realistic person, who likes to follow projects until the final delivery to the users. At the means time, I saw many products and projects to have quite a clear view of the do and donts in electronic archiving, scanning, and EDM.

Maerys is a company I founded with my partners in 2004. We animate an Open Source IDARS (Integrated Document Archiving and Retrieval System) called Maarch (http://www.maarch.org). Maarch is getting more and more successful in France and in developping countries, mainly french speaking africa. We are looking for partners in the english speaking world. You can find maarch on sourceforge. As the President of Maerys, I manage partner and commercial relations. Maarch Open source for document archiving is doing well in France and french speaking countries. We are now working on getting more contacts abroad. We just opened a franchise in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where the need for document archiving is huge. | |
