In 2003 I graduated from Georgia State University with a dual degree in Business Management/Marketing. My first post-graduate position was in outside sales, selling internet and phone services to small to medium sized companies. The second post I had was with a small, boutique recruiting firm in Houston, TX. Our focus there was to cold call, recruit, and profile engineers from the Houston area for the purpose of placing them in local positions. After leaving that firm, I did some independent recruiting on my own for about a year. Recently, I decided to rejoin the workforce and landed a position with Recruitment Enhancement Services (RES), one of the top RPO's in the country. In the brief time I was with the firm, I have realized how dynamic the recruiting process can be and am determined to become an expert in this field. Within the next 2-3 years, I would like to be in the position to train other "new" recuriters who have the same passion about this industry as myself and my colleagues around me do.

Currently, I am a Recruitment Consultant for Swift Technical Services, a leading solutions provider in the Oil & Gas Inudstries. This post has opened my eyes to recruiting on a global scale. I now have the good fortune to contend with benefits, VISA issues, relocations, etc. I am able to combine the knowledge that I gained at RES with the expertise of my present colleagues to form a dynamic recruiting team. It's the best job I've ever had.
