I am an experienced marketing communications professional who has recently relocated back to the US after having lived and worked in senior-level positions in Europe for the past 12 years.
Presently, I am the Corporate Communications Manager for ZyLAB, a leading developer of information searching and archiving software. I develop, write, and oversee the production of all company marketing materials, including sales brochures, Web content, white papers for trade publications, press releases, case studies, and the internal newsletter. I report directly to our President/CEO and am in constant strategic consultation with him and the global sales teams, channel managers, product management groups and external vendors to develop the full array of corporate marketing and communications programs required to succeed in a competitive marketplace. I ensure that all aspects of these initiatives are delivered on time and on budget and that they provide optimal lead generation and enhance the positive perception of the company brand to analysts, the trade press and prospective clients.
In addition, I was recently named the Internal Communications Manager for the Monsanto Vegetable Seed Division. In this role, I provide a full range of strategic communication consultancy and content development expertise across Monsanto’s vegetable companies. A key application of these roles is providing change communication support for the leadership team that is transitioning De Ruiter Seeds – a recent multinational acquisition – into the Monsanto corporate structure.
I also engage in various marketing-communications projects for both local and international organizations and am always on the look out for new, exciting opportunities or partnerships that could benefit from my skill set.
