Having worked in different management roles within Business Intelligence and Corporate Performance Management for more than 10 years, Iver van de Zand can truly be seen as a domain expert*.
After finishing University, Iver joined Digital Equipment as information specialist. Here he introduced the concept of data warehousing as the central repository for logistic information driving strategic decision taking.
Extending his knowledge in Business Intelligence with Newcom Information Systems, Iver co-founded the privately held company ImpacTec in 2000. ImpacTec introduced the concept of analytical applications for the telecommunication sector. This concept has been replicated many times by others later on and is now a standard offering with any telco provider.
In December 2002 he joined Cognos (Nasdaq symbol: COGN) where he held management roles as professional services manager and services operations director.
Iver (38) holds master degrees in Business Economics and Applied Information Technology. He was honoured manager of the year with Cognos in 2005, and 2 times services team representative in 2004 and 2006.
In 2007 Iver co-founded the company element61. Element61 is a thought-leading consulting company in Performance Management and Business Intelligence.
